About me

Hi! My name is Steven Michael Kellogg and am an aspiring cartoonist and concept artist. I was born in Poway, California into a military family that allotted me plenty opportunity to travel and make home all over the United States. I wound up in a small town in Connecticut, where I currently reside and am taking necessary steps to ensure a future in concept art and cartoon animation.

Constant relocation as a child, made little room to make many friends thus giving birth to my talent and passion for art and design. At the age of three I became introduced to Michael John Kricfalusi's 'Ren and Stimpy Show' and Akira Toriyama's 'Dragon Ball', which I immediately adored. From then on I began to draw the character's from the shows as well as those from my own conception and create stories of adventure and wonder.

Aside from cartoons and television, I grew to be quite involved with video games. When I wasn't drawing characters and writing storylines, I would play NES' Super Mario Bros. Video games were a means to escape my reality as I spent my nights staring into the bright luminous tube in my pajamas hoping to dodge the radar of my sleeping parents.

Overall, my life coincides with that of adventure and travel due to my childhood. I thrive for experience, enterprise and ability to truly test and control mysteries unknown. I believe conceptualizing stories best cures my character thus why I am so eager to begin a career in this particular field. I hope to one day help create that world for others to experience as I enjoy doing.
